Working hand in hand with business owners and marketing teams to drive businesses forward, Aidan’s passion is creating marketing communications that enable Irish SMEs to achieve increased levels of growth and profitability.


Having worked with many of the best creative people in Ireland, it’s hardly surprising that cut through creativity is at the very core of the majority of project solutions he delivers.


As a committed and dedicated brand champion, Aidan advises on every aspect of the marketing process, from strategy and concept development through to implementation and subsequent evaluation.


In 2013 Aidan co-founded O’Connor & Kelly Ltd with Jim Kelly as a marketing-led business consultancy focused on supplying outsourced solutions to SME businesses and not-for-profit organisations.


Aidan holds a BA(Hons) in Business and Strategic Management from the Irish Management Institute, as well as diplomas in Digital Communications and Media from the Digital Marketing Institute and in Marketing from Dublin Institute of Technology.


As well as being a member of the Small Firms Association, Aidan has been a director of Unicef Ireland and chair of Nurture.

Christina Clarkin has worked with clients ranging from solopreneurs to multinational brands, including Microsoft and Apple. This breadth of experience has given her a strong understanding of commerce, strategic thinking, and the tools needed to create marketing campaigns that deliver meaningful results.


In Christina’s own words: “I’m enthused by the ever-changing world of marketing. My experience across both digital and traditional media helps me create campaigns and strategies that deliver measurable results for my clients.”


Christina is also a passionate networker and served as President of the Network Ireland Wicklow branch in 2022.

Jim enjoyed a fifteen-year stint managing brand communications and philanthropic activities within AIB Group, such as the Ryder Cup 2006 and the Better Ireland Programme.


He also developed and managed the sponsorship department of the bank that included all areas of communication such as direct mail, advertising, PR and merchandising.


In 2010 Jim moved to the Dublin Institute of Technology, to assist with the development of external philanthropy and fundraising initiatives for the DIT Foundation.


Jim briefly worked in a communications consultancy role for the Central Bank of Ireland in 2012, before establishing OC&K in 2013, with Aidan. He now works with a portfolio of clients advising on brand development, online visibility (including website and mobile app development), content management and offline promotions. 


Clients include those from the hotel and hospitality industry, the retail industry, sports clubs, financial & property industry, and the not-for-profit sector.


Jim holds a Bachelor of Financial Services Degree from UCD, is a Fellow of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and a past council member of the Ireland Funds. He has been a member of the Dublin Chamber and is a current member of the SFA, in Ireland.
